Position Summary
Bright Shadows Telepsychiatry Services is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support psychiatric and behavioral health services. The LPN plays a critical role in coordinating patient care, supporting providers, monitoring clinical workflows, and ensuring high-quality patient experiences across telehealth and in-person services. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

  • Assist providers with patient intake and clinical preparation

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs (when applicable)

  • Review patient medical history and medications

  • Support medication reconciliation processes

  • Monitor patient symptoms and report concerns to providers

  • Assist with care coordination and follow-up communication

Patient Care Coordination

  • Conduct patient outreach and follow-up calls

  • Support treatment plan implementation

  • Provide patient education related to medications and care plans

  • Assist with referrals, labs, and coordination of outside services

  • Monitor patient compliance with appointments and treatment

Telehealth Support

  • Prepare patients for telehealth appointments

  • Troubleshoot basic technology issues

  • Ensure telehealth consent and documentation compliance

  • Support virtual clinic workflow efficiency

Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR

  • Assist with prior authorizations and medication requests

  • Support insurance coordination as needed

  • Ensure timely chart updates and clinical notes support

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Qualifications

Required

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience

  • Strong patient communication skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems and technology

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Preferred

  • Behavioral health or psychiatric experience

  • Telehealth experience

  • Medication management support experience

  • Care coordination background

Compensation: $27.00 per hour
